Extended Access

BB Healthcare Solutions now offer extended access for general practice on:

  • Monday to Friday 18:30 - 20:00
  • Saturday 08:00 – 18:00
  • Sunday 09:00 - 14:00.

Available at various Hubs across Basildon, Billericay and Wickford.

By calling your surgery you will be able to speak to reception at either your surgery or a Hub Clinic and book a nurse or GP appointment 7 days a week, even on Public Holidays in your HUB Clinic.

Three HUB clinics will be open weekday evenings (18.30 - 20.00) and two HUB clinics on weekends and public holidays (08.00 - 18.00 on Saturdays and 09.00 - 14.00 on Sundays and Public Holidays) one in Basildon and one alternating between Wickford and Billericay.

When We Are Closed

This service is available all over weekends, evenings/early mornings and bank holidays.

After 18:30 Monday-Friday, please dial 111 for access to urgent medical care when the surgery is closed. This service is available all over weekends, evenings/early mornings and bank holidays.

If you have a life threatening medical emergency please ring 999.  Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally. 

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

  • Treat yourself at home
  • Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
